The 3 Mistakes Killing Your Metabolism This Weekend…

Most people don’t ruin progress during the week. They kill it between Friday night and Sunday — and wonder why they feel stuck on Monday. Here are the 3 biggest metabolism killers I see every weekend: 1. Too much sodium, no water Takeout, drinks, and restaurant meals are loaded with sodium. You don’t hydrate enough — and by morning you’re bloated, sluggish, and up 5 lbs. Fix: Double your water early in the day and taper it off before bed. 2. No movement at all You sleep in. Skip cardio. Eat big. Move less. Your metabolism slows down. Fix: Get fasted cardio, a morning walk, or a quick workout. Movement = momentum. 3. Alcohol stacked on carbs Shots + fries + burgers = full glycogen overflow. That scale jump? It’s not fat — it’s inflammation. Fix: Pull carbs earlier in the day or increase post-meal movement to stay ahead.
